Hi All,
I'm trying to search for similar posts about this issue, but I haven't found exactly what I'm experiencing. Over the past weeks, my computer has been freezing or locking up. Monitors sometimes go black and require a restart. Other times everything freezes and I hear repetitive sounds from the speakers as if one sound wave is looping, forcing me to manually restart. I checked the Event Viewer each time but couldn't identify any problems. I've replaced the external power supply and ordered a new PSU (and case, since it doesn't fit in this prebuilt Dell). My main worry is whether the CPU, motherboard, or graphics cards are the problem. Considering the current economic situation, I don't want to spend money I don't have. Do anyone have advice on testing the motherboard or CPU? Is there something I'm overlooking? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
