He connected his son with three speakers to the PC. I removed the speakers since the computer turned on and emitted loud fan sounds without doing anything. What actions should I take next?

Which Dell model is this? There might be diagnostic lights inside that can assist. I worry your son could have damaged something in the soundcard area, possibly worse. The integrated soundcard isn't a speaker amplifier, so PC speakers need power and amplification, typically with a power button and volume control.
