I was testing vsync on in the NVIDIA CP, then I turned it off and faced issues again. I can't exceed about 40 FPS in the game, starting at around 60 but dropping to ~40 even though the main menu shows ~100 FPS and the loading screen ~200 FPS. In CSGO, VSync was also disabled. I play on High Graphics and tried Low Graphics too, but the same problem persists. My PC specs are: PSU be quiet! Straight Power E10 700W, CPU is an Asus Strix GTX 960 DCII OC2G, motherboard ASUS P5G41T M LX, RAM Kingston 1333MHz 6GB (2+4), monitor Samsung SyncMaster 720N. If anyone can assist, please help! Thanks!

Could be a slow point in the system. The CPU might not handle the 960 smoothly, so it reduces speed automatically. If you notice problems after turning off Vsync, restart it.

Have you removed and reinstalled the driver? What is your typical frame rate? Are the CPU and GPU temperatures within normal ranges?

Checked everything, CPU and GPU temperatures are fine.

I encountered an issue with VSync on and off, it seems consistent. The FPS drops even more when it's on. Possibly my CPU's older design can't manage the newer GTX graphics.

I don't have a specific FPS value to share, as it depends on the context. Could you clarify what you're referring to?

I don’t recall anything, maybe I didn’t have that graphics card. I had two gigabytes of RAM, and the CS Go wasn’t updated.

It seems the CPU might be the problem. I believe CS:GO is more demanding on the CPU than the GPU.
