Problem with CPU fan performance detected.
Hello, I'm facing another issue with my new PC. The Cooler Master CPU cooler isn't cooling properly, and even after changing BIOS settings multiple times, it's not improving. NZXT says the fan speed is "n/a." I've also had high CPU temperatures during video editing, yet the fan didn't respond. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
It makes sense, since a quiet fan setting usually takes effect once temperatures reach around 70-80°C.
The fan appears to be running smoothly given the current temperature. It makes sense that it isn’t spinning fast since the system isn’t pushing hard, especially at 60°C. This temperature is reasonable for a CPU during video editing tasks, indicating everything functions properly. The software you’re using should show the correct fan speed, and whether it’s connected to the motherboard or chassis, doesn’t affect the concern.
Sure thing. I'm not sure which port it's connected to. My brother assisted with setting everything up, including the connections, since I'm still learning and this was costly for me. I can check the ports to understand the setup. The fan is always running but doesn't create much air movement or noise. Thanks a lot!
