It seems the item is faulty. Being from 2015 and sitting for a long time might be the cause.
Maybe, maybe not. A quality AIO will stay functional for many years. But maybe the liquid evaporated enough so that the pump is pumping air. When in doubt, you should try another cooler to see if the issue persists. Even a basic air cooler will do for a test.
It isn't pulling air, it doesn't make any noise. its just after awhile it dies and my temps skyrocket.
