Problem with Computer Speed / Not Responding
Hi everyone,
The computer has been behaving oddly recently. When I play games like WoW or watch videos, everything runs very slowly. Youtube and other video sites take a long time to load, Facebook typing is delayed by about five seconds each time I type, and some programs don’t open immediately when I click on them.
I’ve tried using CCleaner to clean things up, as well as Malwarebytes, AVG, and Adwcleaner, but everything seems normal now. I’m not sure what caused this issue—I don’t install unknown links or downloads that might be harmful.
Any advice would really help in fixing the problem.
List all pc specs.
Monitor cpu temp with Core Temp.
Check all memory is accounted for with Cpuz and also check task manager processes for cpu/ram sorting highest to lowest. Right click any abnormally high process and click search online to find out what it is.

I reviewed the task manager and removed some processes, such as Teams and Chrome, which were running. It’s unclear why this occurred even without those programs active. Memory usage was between 6-8GB out of a total 32GB, with temperatures remaining normal.
I have a Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus with 1 TB, just under a quarter full, and 628 GB available out of 930 GB total. Other games might be installed on my internal hard drive.
