That's correct. The 100/200 series for 6th to 7th generation are cross-compatible, followed by the 300 for 8th/9th generation. They share the same socket and pin count, but the layout is different.

I was testing the bench on my TV and realized the GPU is definitely active since the TV shows “HDMI connected” but no signal appears. I plan to connect it to a monitor to see if the results change, and in the worst case, I’ll keep returning to Amazon until it works again, hoping not to get flagged.

Purchased a 9th Gen Intel CPU as it fits the ideal balance in Canada—neither too expensive nor scarce due to its age, yet still old enough so I’m avoiding a higher cost, I hope it functions properly now
