Almost three weeks have passed and I still face another significant issue. To resolve it, I upgraded to a lower-end CPU to boot into the BIOS of the B350M Bazooka motherboard. Initially, I had an AMD Ryzen 5 5100X series CPU, but it wasn’t supported, so I bought an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X instead. I was able to install Windows on a flash drive without any problems, and after completing the setup, it booted directly from the flash. However, I encountered a problem when I tried to access the laptop—Windows reported a hard drive failure, and all banking data was missing. A QR code appeared for Dell support, indicating that everything important is stored there. Please assist me.

I don't have a Windows version on the new machine; I attempted to use the installation wizard for Windows on another device to download Windows and install it on the desktop.

Did you rely on the flash drive with your financial records and vital data?

The details were stored directly on the laptop— I applied a fresh flash, but it started using the flash during installation and now it won’t boot properly.

Unless you had numerous incorrect selections after the restart, it had no effect on the drive in the laptop.

It seems like the issue was removing Windows, which might explain why it keeps displaying "drive has failed to boot."

No. It won't remove windows until several stages of the OS installation are complete, and you need to request it to perform that action.

It seems you've made a mistake, but I'm unsure what you meant.
