I'm experiencing a power cycle problem with my computer. When the room gets warm, the system freezes and restarts repeatedly—no blue or black screen, just a reboot. The Event Viewer says it shut down without a clean stop, possibly due to overheating, crashes, or power loss. It happens when the CPU runs between 112°F and 120°F, and the GPU between 90°F and 140°F. Removing the side panel and adding a box fan helps fix it. The temperatures on the CPU and GPU don't seem problematic, and iCUE isn't showing any errors. What might be causing this issue?

Increase the number of fans in the unit or water cooling setup since airflow is insufficient. Under these conditions, the temperature is limiting performance to safeguard the system. Given the current weather, removing the side panels and directing an external fan to blow over it helps. Be mindful of dust and other airborne particles, and clean your computer more frequently. I’d even consider installing disposable paper filters and securing them with tape on the side fans for added protection—though not ideal, it’s at least better than nothing.

I own a total of 4 units of 120mm fans and 7 units of 140mm fans.
