The title clearly states its purpose, though sometimes it appears or not. It functions reliably with my HDMI cable, RX 580 GPU, and Koorui 24E3 monitor. The CPU is E5 2650 V2 and the motherboard is X79G Chinese.

DisplayPort behaves in unusual ways that certain BIOS systems struggle to handle properly. It’s likely due to a strange combination of the monitor, the BIOS, and specific timing issues.

Older Nvidia graphics required a VBIOS upgrade to function properly with modern displays using DP at the BIOS setting. It's unclear if AMD offers comparable updates.

I kept looking for a similar solution that prompted me to refresh my GPU BIOS, but it didn’t help. Now I’ll just use HDMI when I need to connect to the BIOS.
