i'm facing issues updating my BIOS without a CPU. I extracted the latest stable update, renamed it to a USB drive, and connected it properly, but when I press the flash button it only lights up briefly, showing just the CPU debug LED. This is why I'm trying to update the BIOS. I've used several different USB drives so far, yet the problem continues. The motherboard model is B650 Tomahawk with Wi-Fi and CPU Ryzen 5 7500F, GPU RX 6750 XT, 2x16GB RAM, Corsair Vengeance 6000 at 1350MHz, an NVMe SSD, Crucial P310 PSU, and MSI Mag A750GL PCIe 5.0.

Well, that eliminates a faulty USB drive. Did you verify that the drive was formatted with FAT32 and contained only the BIOS file? Another problem I've faced several times. If an app exists to rename the BIOS file, it might change its name from what's listed in the manual. You may need to rename it manually if that's the case. Good luck!
