Problem with audio, unable to locate a solution.
Hello, I'm experiencing an unusual audio issue.
I've been looking online for a fix but haven't found anything.
Third-party apps such as Discord, Teamspeak, etc., seem to capture everything from my voice and the content I'm watching.
Even when my microphone is muted, others in my calls can still hear what I'm watching on platforms like YouTube or similar services.
I'm worried something might be wrong with my PC, especially since I've had it for a month now.
You can access the Control Panel Sound app and review the advanced options. Typically, the settings ensure that applications can control the device fully and prioritize exclusive mode apps. This would make the boxes appear as checkmarks. If not, you may need to temporarily turn off other inputs so only your microphone is active during calls. You should also look into the configurations for apps like Discord and Teamspeak to find options that restrict the app to use just your microphone as a sound source instead of any other audio source on your PC. Alternatively, you could avoid watching other content while on calls.
