I'm having trouble getting sound through my speakers. I checked everything, updated all settings, and confirmed my monitor volume is at 100%. I recently built this PC and don't know how to resolve the issue. My audio only comes through headphones now. I've installed Realtek and AMD drivers, updated the PC, but it still doesn't work. The HDMI cable is connected to my video card and monitor, which should display something.

What connector and/or adapter are you employing to link the monitor with the pc? System specifications? Monitor model?

Request the precise model, as the V line corresponds to the series.

You won't hear sound through the monitors speakers since this model lacks speakers, only audio pass-through from HDMI to the 3.5mm audio output port. The volume control applies to that audio out jack.

When you launch the Control Sound application, it lists the connected devices; it displays information similar to Speakers Connected or Speakers Unplugged. Examining the Device Manager under Control Panel reveals that all sound-related devices are functioning correctly, especially when using an HDMI output. It might be necessary to install the Intel HD Audio Driver for Display Audio, which you can verify using the Intel Driver and Support Assistant app.
