I just got my new system, a new gaming desktop, plugged almost everything in, but when it came to inserting the plug for my speakers, it doesn't go in all the way despite pushing hard. The speakers hum because they're not grounded. I don't want to push too hard because the audio comes from the motherboard and I'm worried about damaging it. Why is this happening? I've never had a problem like this before. I've tried contacting the manufacturer, but I'm on hold for a few minutes before their system hangs up on me and it's done several times!
