The front panel audio connector on your case appears larger than the one on your motherboard. You may need to adjust the case or check for any modifications.

Audio header must match your setup exactly. The larger connector is likely for compatibility reasons.

I attempted to match the pin width to the socket size on the cable, but it seems incompatible.

Is this a HD Audio connector? If yes, you'll require an AC97 to HD audio converter. It looks like your motherboard supports AC97.

This setup resembles what I see (HD audio/AC97 connector). Usually, all front panel connectors are grouped together in a single wire loop. The user wants to verify if these connectors link back to the power buttons, and also confirm the labels are present. I also observed that one of the wires seems pushed back or raised (the blue wire on the far right) during attempts to place it on the header. It should be returned down into the plug so it can function properly.

The package includes a compact HD audio adapter with a reduced head to fit the larger HD audio plug. It comes wrapped in a transparent plastic container.
