Hello, welcome to 10G networking! You've got a solid setup with your SFP+ cards, switch, and computer. Everything seems fine on the side connected to your PC. However, when interacting with your server—whether via RDP, File Explorer, or Minecraft—the connection drops unexpectedly. You've noticed interface lockups during pings and slow file transfers that drop to near zero. The issue appears to be related to network behavior under load, possibly due to MTU settings or packet size limitations. I've tried adjusting MTU values and even disabled jumbo packets, but the problem persists. Have you encountered similar issues from others?

Check this Dell driver here: https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/...erid=r7jmm It helped me when I faced problems with the aqc107 10 gigabit card.

Is the router under control? I noticed 10G performance drops without proper flow management, especially when pairing 1G devices with a 10G server. I’ve only tested it on my Asus XG-C100C running Linux, which has always worked smoothly.

I attempted that process, removed the previous driver and added the Dell version, restarted the system and when I ran ping -t it functioned properly, provided I didn't trigger anything excessive like RDP. On the captured image I managed to connect via RDP, but after about ten seconds the interface stopped responding, just like with the old driver.

My switch is controlled, and I believe it's not the issue. Since I'm using an SFP+ card on my primary machine, I haven't encountered any problems. I connect to the internet through that setup and have received no interruptions.

It seems the card might be faulty. I’d consider sending it back for replacement.

It might be helpful to mention I'm running Windows Server 2019 on the system.

Sure, you can run server 19 on your test bench using one of your XG-C100Cs to check for the problem again tomorrow evening.

Great! I'll try it out with the Win Server 2016 version as well.
