The temperatures dropped right away when I shut down the program quickly. The cooler is clearly working properly. It reached a peak of 72°C on core1. I noticed a video showing i7-4770 chips with thermal paste between the cap, and it seems you need to remove the lid before installing a new batch.
I tested it for 12 minutes and everything stayed stable without any crashes or freezes. The room got warm, but temperatures stayed under control. Thanks a lot for your assistance—I really appreciate it. I plan to check the motherboard tomorrow, swap out the battery, and see if that resolves the issue. The numbers were mixed but clear; the image ran smoothly at 1080p with no errors on Prime95. It’s worth noting GPUs and CPUs are now valuable investments. Also, I have two 2K monitors connected.
Everything appeared very stable inside the Mobo. Swapped the battery and did a blower clean, but there was still dust on some capacitors. I was nervous about handling it near the solder points. The battery was also replaced. The issue keeps happening—no one knows what to try next, anyone have ideas? The PC crashes even without the HDD.
