Problem with Asus AI Suite 3
Problem with Asus AI Suite 3
Good morning from Greece, I’m facing a challenging issue and would really value your assistance. I recently installed my new PC equipped with an i9 9900k and the Asus Rog Strix Z390 gaming graphics card. For the first time, I attempted overclocking using the AI suite, which is unfamiliar territory for me. The video suggested that the simplest method was through the AI suite, and it worked instantly, raising the speed from 3.6 to 4.9. After a few hours, the system crashed and displayed a blue screen briefly. I considered reverting to the original settings, but there was no obvious way to do so. A reset via BIOS didn’t help, and the system remained stuck at overclocked speeds. I tried disabling the AI suite, then resetting the BIOS again, but the problem persisted. My error was not creating a profile with the stock settings beforehand, which would have allowed loading it later.
Hello,
check the Mb instruction manual for a jumper pin that resets the BIOS to its default settings.
Avoid using auto tune features; they often fail.
Follow the manual instructions instead.
Seek assistance on the forums if you encounter difficulties.
Good luck!
I enjoy BoostedMedia's tutorial guides on Intel OC, try to find more for your CPU+Motherboard but this seems like a solid beginning.
