Hello everyone, I'm preparing a build using a Zen 3 CPU and purchased my motherboard without initially considering a BIOS update. Unbeknownst to me, I had an Athlon 220GE available which isn't officially supported. However, I decided to check its functionality and it works fine. After updating the BIOS and restarting, the system fails to load properly, repeating the same POST codes continuously. I'm wondering if this is due to early BIOS versions supporting older CPUs and then being removed post-update. I just wanted to confirm this possibility, as I've attached a video showing the looping behavior. POST loop.mp4

It seems likely. Consider using your Zen 3 CPU now.

I'd hope it hasn't come yet. The CPU in question belongs to a friend's setup, and they allowed me to try it out before they finished their build. I'm not too concerned about it. Just wondering if anyone can verify.
