Hello everyone, I've noticed the ARGB fans are flickering frequently. I've already tried several fixes: cleared SignalRGB settings, checked all the wires, and moved the header location. The issue persists and impacts all fans. These are 5V ARGB fans from Thermalright: https://thermalright.com/product/tl-c12cw-s/. Any advice or suggestions would be really helpful! IMG_6317 (1).mov

If every fan is showing flickering, the problem likely lies with the RGB controller or your RGB header being overwhelmed. Test one fan at a time to determine if the issue persists. If the flickering disappears, the header is likely overloaded. If it remains, the header may be faulty.

This usually occurs when several programs are handling RGB or fan control and sensors. They clash with each other. I use Icue to manage my RGB. When I launch the hardware monitor (a sensor-based program), my PC behaves like a hard drive. It might help to combine everything into one control program for RGB and fans.

Ensure the system uses a true 5V ARGB header, not a 12V RGB setup. Only one software should control the devices—remove any extra applications. Avoid daisy-chaining multiple TL-C12CW-S units; voltage drops may cause flickering. Reduce fan count per header or use a separate ARGB hub with SATA/Molex power so the board isn’t the sole power source. Consider updating the BIOS, as some boards fixed ARGB stability issues. If problems persist, a basic powered ARGB controller often resolves the problem.

Thanks for your feedback. The behavior you described suggests the problem might be related to fan synchronization or power delivery when multiple fans are connected. The fact that it stops when you disconnect two and resumes when reconnected indicates an issue with fan coordination. Using the Ant Esports AFH90 2-in-1 ARGB PWM Fan Hub could be a good option. It supports RGB control via SignalRGB and offers multiple PWM ports, which may help stabilize fan operation. Consider testing it to see if it resolves the flickering issue.

This hub seems promising because it provides its own SATA power, which may lower the strain on the motherboard's ARGB header. It’s worth testing, particularly if the issue improves when fewer fans are connected.
