You're experiencing input lag and a drop in FPS when playing Apex Legends, even though other games run smoothly. It might be related to your graphics card or network stability. Consider checking your internet connection, ensuring no background apps are consuming bandwidth, and verifying that your monitor is properly calibrated. If the issue persists, try updating your graphics drivers or testing on a different device.

Apex Legends indeed employs EAC, but some users encounter issues like lag and fluctuating frames. It also generates unusual error alerts in the event viewer during use. While Warthunder, another game using EAC, runs smoothly at around 60 FPS with occasional dips to 45-50, switching between tabs can restore stability. This method seems effective for others facing similar problems with EAC-based games.
