Problem with AMD Wraith Spire cooler and RGB setup on motherboard.
Problem with AMD Wraith Spire cooler and RGB setup on motherboard.
Hey, before I start, here are my PC's specs. Motherboard - GIGABYTE AORUS GA-AX370 Gaming 5 Case - Corsair 220T Graphics Card - GeForce GTX 1050Ti ASUS Phoenix Memory - Crucial Ballistix 16GB 3200mhz CPU - Ryzen 5 2400G CPU Cooler - AMD Wraith Spire RGB My issue is that the only way I can change my AMD Wraith Spire color, is by changing my motherboard color, when I use RGB Fusion to change my motherboard color, for example if I changed my motherboard color to red, my motherboard goes to pink, and AMD Wraith Spire to green. If I change it to green, my motherboard goes to a bright cyanish color, and my CPU cooler red.
Ensure the RGB wire is inserted correctly without reversing it. Connect it according to the specified orientation. The arrow on the pin points to Pin #1 on the header.
I just started working on this project. When I shared it online, I wasn't sure where the LED_C1 was located on the motherboard, so I checked the manual and found it near the bottom left of the cooler. I bought this PC used from eBay, and noticed the builder only connected it partially because the cable didn’t reach properly due to their setup. I adjusted the wiring, which made the PC a bit more cluttered but worked. The images you provided are what I’m seeing now. If I switch the motherboard color to red, both the board and CPU cooler turn pink; changing it to blue makes the board a faint cyanish and the cooler a blue-purple hue. Turning off the RGB in the software brings everything to blue. Thanks for your assistance.
It depends on the specific LEDs; colors can appear muted. Could you provide a photo? What tools are you using for RGB control? Do you have separate controls for different devices, like an RGB keyboard or mouse? You should be able to manage everything with Gigabyte's RGB Fusion for the CPU cooler and motherboard, plus any other headers.
You're using RGB Fusion 2.0 and don't have multiple monitors. The red image shows the motherboard as red, though it's actually hot pink.
