I purchased a used rx6400 from eBay as a fast and affordable alternative to my older 550, which still functions but is quite outdated and suitable for my current low-end PC.
Upon arrival, I installed it quickly, updated the drivers, and it operated smoothly for about two weeks.
It performed adequately in games, though performance was somewhat inconsistent, with occasional graphics stuttering and brief crashes that would recover in World of Warcraft.
Eventually, the system crashed completely, displaying a black screen and no graphics. After restarting, it remained active but failed to launch drivers, insisting they needed an update—never connecting successfully.
No recent driver updates or Windows updates had been applied, suggesting a possible driver-related issue, possibly due to not cleaning the drivers with DDU during the GPU installation.
During troubleshooting, simply clearing and reinstalling the drivers resolved the problem temporarily. After removing and reinstalling the drivers, it worked properly again. No output appeared when switching to integrated graphics, and in GPU-Z it showed as unused, with error 43 in Device Manager and no memory details.
After reseating the GPU, nothing changed. I also cleared the drivers and reinstalled them, but the issue persisted. Even after updating Windows, everything functioned correctly.
Now my old GPU is working again, producing video output, and it runs games without problems. It appears in GPU-Z, though AMD Adrenalin still behaves oddly—drivers are functional but software fails to launch.
I might need to completely reset and reinstall it again, which would take about five seconds.
Given all this, and the gradual failure of the rx6400, I suspect it has stopped working entirely. The main concern remains the driver problem, though we’ll see if that affects the outcome.
My priority is having a functional PC that can handle my old MMO at least.
After requesting a refund, I thought it would be wise to ask for feedback on whether I’ve resolved the issue or missed something, hoping the refund can be processed. Sorry if this explanation is lengthy.

It seems like the graphics card isn't working properly. Please consider returning or exchanging it if that's an option.

While I observed its decline gradually, I expect it to be. I'll check if the eBay seller is cooperative.

Good luck. What was the cost of it?
