Trying to launch Adrenaline software is causing this issue. I've installed it from AMD's site several times today and confirmed compatibility. Searching online revealed potential problems with AMD's website being down, though clicking the "go to AMD.com" link works. DNS flushing, ISP issues, and T-Mobile 5G seem to be contributing factors. Recently switching to T-Mobile 5G, I'm also facing challenges hosting Steam servers because of protocol restrictions. Before contacting T-Mobile or dealing with technical support, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you checked if you removed the program first? Installing it as an update could simply refresh it instead of reinstalling.

I received the same notification about needing an update. I saved and installed from amd.com, but something went wrong. Windows installed an AMD driver on my PC. Once the driver was set up, the update prompt appeared again. You’ll have to turn off automatic driver updates so this doesn’t repeat. If you want instructions, search for “Windows driver updates how to stop.”

Thanks everyone! It seems the Windows driver was working, but after removing it and using Adrenaline following the steps from @BillBill, everything is functioning properly again.
