I just assembled a new PC using the parts listed here. After setting it up in BIOS without issues, I connected a Windows installation drive and exited the BIOS. The monitor stopped working eventually due to no signal, so I tried turning off the machine manually. The power switch didn’t shut it down, so I cut the wall power. Once I reconnected the power, the system wouldn’t start at all—no fan spinning or any response. The PSU passed the paperclip test and the fans should spin when powered. The power button isn’t the issue either, as the screwdriver method didn’t help. I’m concerned the board might be damaged. I wasn’t expecting it to brick after a single power loss, but I’m unsure what else could be wrong. Could there be something I’m missing? Any suggestions on how to test if the board is affected?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Experiment with the simplest setup to see if a display runs using the iGPU without a dedicated GPU on the platform. If successful, you can later integrate a discrete GPU during the same setup process.
