Hello, I purchased the UGREEN 8K Displayport KVM Switch that supports both 8k60hz and 4k240hz. I have an RTX 3060 and an LG 27GN950 monitor (4K, 144Hz), which are working well. I installed the new KVM switch to connect my laptop and PC to this monitor, but when using KVM, only the RTX 3060 at 4K 60Hz functions properly. Switching to 4K 144Hz causes constant flickering. Initially, I thought it was due to the cable's bandwidth limitations with KVM, but testing at lower resolutions like 2K 144Hz and 2K 90Hz didn't help. Even 1080p 144Hz still flickers badly. Turning off G-SYNC didn’t resolve the issue. It seems the KVM switch might not be working correctly or I’m missing something. Thanks for your help.

Based on my observations, budget-friendly KVM models usually don’t handle 240Hz. Even premium options often lack this feature. Some KVMs support up to 144Hz, so you might want to check out TESmart—they’re reasonably priced compared to many competitors.
