Problem with 3900X core clock?
I tested some games like SOTomb Raider and Monster Hunter World while using Ryzen Master at stock settings. My CPU never exceeded 4050 in any core—usually the first one was the highest anyway. I manually adjusted it to 4300 in Ryzen Master, but it still stayed under 4050 during CPU-heavy gameplay, though it improved in Cinebench single-core results (around 4.3 on stock). No clear fix needed. You might want to upgrade to something like 4900X or check if the latest BIOS is installed. Recent updates could help, but I’m not sure about the current version.
I've heard about issues with the Zen 3000 CPUs, but the cause is unclear. Voltage seems likely, though I'm not sure. Did the processor run in stock or was PBO enabled for better performance? That's what's puzzling me and catching my interest.
Today's tests showed manual OC for all cores with Spoiler manual OC. The core Spoiler stock looked fine, though the single core didn't reach the expected 4.6GHz.
test outcome (2/3) Manual OC 6c/12t Expect spoiler stock 6c/12t to appear around the same time as CB all core. The OC result seems inconsistent, not locking any cores close to 4.3 as expected.
game test outcome (3/3) manual OC all core Spoiler stock all core Spoiler once more. Stock ID unclear, but manual OC clocks are far off from the set core clock. It worked in Cinebench but failed to impress—feels like CPU or something else in the system is the issue. Not sure if it's GPU or another factor. MHW, same experience again, so I didn’t share the pictures.
I also checked with osu! The main clock from MSI Afterburner and Ryzen Master seems inconsistent, while Ryzen Master displays a different result.
