The voltage reading at 1.38V and the RAM speed of 3200MHz seem fine. But sometimes the motherboard pushes a bit more than what the CPU actually needs. When everything is set to stock, the CPU boosts up to around 4GHz and briefly hits 4.25GHz. The SVI2 TFN sensor reads between 1.27-1.29V for that speed. I’ve heard the 2700X typically handles 3.7GHz at 1.0V, so I thought about lowering the boost to see what voltage it would actually use. It dropped to about 1.1V at 3.7GHz stock speed. That’s tricky—I tried undervolting by setting a negative Vcore offset in BIOS. Instead of getting the expected lower voltage, the CPU started underclocking itself. For instance, with a -0.05Vcore offset, it jumped to 3975MHz at 1.24V. Should I just leave it alone or try a manual overclock? Is this behavior normal for other motherboards, or is my board acting differently?

2700x causes significant voltage draw. Stock boost FXR performance is visible up to around 1.5v on single core. Also, your board isn't strong enough in the VRM package section for a 2700x. This can be verified using the stickied motherboard list.

Consider adjusting SMT to cut power usage slightly and maybe lower temperatures a bit. However, I think the voltage too low won’t create problems. The CPU prefers higher than lower voltage to run at its intended frequency. My setup runs at 3.7GHz with a P-state voltage of 1.212V, which isn’t sufficient. It should be closer to 1.3V. That’s just what I’ve experienced as an example.
