Problem persistent when explaining PC again and again.
Hi everyone! I own this PC since late 2018 and haven’t made major upgrades. My current setup includes: CPU – Ryzen 7 2700X, GPU – GTX 1080 Ti, Motherboard – X470 AORUS GAMING with Wi-Fi, RAM – two 8GB Corsair Vengeance at 3000 RAM speed, PSU – EVGA 650W 80+ Gold, Storage – Samsung SATA SSDs plus a 250 GB M.2 NVMe drive. About a year ago I planned a dual boot of Ubuntu alongside my existing Windows 10 installation. I added the M.2 drive and cleaned everything thoroughly before installing. I also rewired cables, reinserted RAM (which wasn’t removed initially), tried turning off the new drive, and eventually removed it. The problem usually appears when starting up under stress—sometimes it disappears for a month then returns. I’ve checked power connections, reset RAM, but nothing seems to fix it. A restart often resolves it, though high load doesn’t always trigger it. I’m getting frustrated and would really appreciate any advice or help to get this working smoothly again.
