Problem Persistent Issue Continues to Arise Challenging Situation
I recently installed a new build and initially functioned smoothly until last night. Using a Z790 EVGA, i9-13th gen, 4090, 32GB 7600, and Seasonic 1000W platinum, I was playing WoW when my screen went black and the fans ran at full speed. The display never restored, so I had to restart via the power button. This has occurred several times tonight and yesterday. I reset the BIOS to defaults, no driver updates were applied, and the BIOS remains current. It doesn’t overheat before shutting down—typically between 50-57°C. Anyone know if this is related to a weak power supply? I’ve been tracking power usage, which peaked at around 866W during quick in/out transitions while gaming.
