Problem not clear, some artifacts observed, freezing occurred, no DRAM light detected, yet...
So my computer is behaving oddly now. I wrote this note from my machine. Two days ago, after waking up from hibernation, the screen froze with many icons stuck. I thought... I should power it off and on again... but the same thing happened. Then I ran a BIOS reset, and everything worked fine—no problems while gaming with XMP enabled. Now, when I turn it on, the motherboard’s yellow LED lights up, indicating a DRAM issue. But that’s strange. After another BIOS reset, I was able to boot and everything is normal. Is this something I should worry about? I ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic, but it didn’t show any issues even with XMP off. Maybe the RAM or CPU is having trouble with XMP? Or could it be a problem with the motherboard or BIOS? It’s possible the system got misconfigured after a day off, maybe even corrupted. I’m checking if the Memory Diagnostic is scanning the iGUP cache because during a game it froze, and after a BIOS reset it worked. The main parts are: Ryzen 7 5700G, 8x2 GB Ballistix RAM at 3600Hz (dual channel), b550-f Asus ROG Strix. Temperatures are normal, airflow is good, PSU is 850W, BIOS is up to date, drivers are clean, chipset and Windows are current. I don’t know what else could be causing this...
Attempt to adjust the DRAM speed to 3200mhz with XMP activated.
