Problem loading speed data.

I've faced this problem since reinstalling Windows about a year ago. My internet speeds have been extremely slow ever since. Normally I expect downloads to reach around 100-120 MB/s, but I'm currently getting only 30kbit/s to 30mb/s. It often drops to near zero for a few minutes before jumping back up to very low speeds. Recently, updating to 50MB took over two hours. I've dealt with this many times without success. Today I tried downloading DCS World, which has been stuck for five hours and only downloaded 20 out of 165 GB. It gives me a rough idea it might take about 23 hours left. This is frustrating. The strange part is the speed changes—sometimes it works for a bit, then it slows down again. I used the same Ethernet cable as before and have an SSD for my main storage and an HDD for games. My HDD seems capable of handling the speeds, so that doesn't seem to be the cause. I also tried turning off my antivirus, but it didn’t help. It looks like I'm running Windows 10 now. Thanks for any assistance!

Your internet service provider claims to offer advertised speeds, but you may be accessing faster connections or encountering throttling. Consider running a speed test to verify actual performance.

I performed a speed test and recorded download speeds between 100 to 120 megabytes per second in my post.

No, I didn't reinstall the NIC drivers during the reinstallation.

Downloading from the internet? Have you attempted a local network connection? Was there a chance to move a file from the SSD to the HDD?

Steam, Epic Games, and even file downloads from Chrome aren’t the case. I haven’t done it, and I doubt I’ll ever will. The transfer is usually quite quick.
