You encountered an issue during installation. Here’s what you can try:

- Press CTRL+SHIFT+F5/F4/F3/F2/F1 repeatedly until the console appears.
- If the console opens, you should be able to start the Debug Log Server and resolve the problem.
- Ensure your internet connection is stable and DHCP settings are functioning properly.
- Double-check the ISO image SHA values and confirm they match.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

The issue lies in setting up the system. The image indicates that the root partition lacks sufficient available space.

The issue lies in setting up Kali Linux. It’s intended for live use only. If you need a distribution with access to Kali’s software, consider Ubuntu or Debian instead. The installation failure could stem from several factors—sharing your detailed steps and system specs would aid in identifying the problem. Are you certain you have sufficient storage and chose the right partition?

Thanks! My computer teacher agreed too, and I plan to run it as a VM in VirtualBox!

Yes, it is feasible. You can run BlackArch on top of Arch Linux and install Kali on top of Ubuntu or Debian. The process involves mounting the appropriate images and configuring the environments accordingly.

Kali isn't built like Debian with extra software preloaded. For specific tools you want with Kali, search for installation guides. Blackarch is essentially Arch Linux with some packages already set up; you can achieve a similar setup using a standard Arch distribution. You won’t install Kali on top of another OS. Think of Windows versions like "Doors"—just add Chrome instead of installing a separate app.

Kali Linux works well with Ubuntu, Debian, and Zorin OS. Each offers good support for packages and configurations.

You're unsure about choosing a distribution, but Kali is tailored for penetration testing with its customized kernel. It's ideal for softwares focused on security assessments.
