Problem encountered with updated components.
My PC is experiencing strange behavior where it suddenly freezes during scene transitions—no BSOD, no error messages, just a complete lack of response. The screen goes dark without any warning. I'm currently checking my RAM, but other components like drives, fans, and the power supply also seem unrelated to the problem. It feels like GPU hiccups, though the GPU specs suggest it should handle 850W and the system load shouldn't exceed 800W. Either my RAM is faulty or the PSU isn’t delivering enough power. I really need someone to help figure out what’s going on.
run SFC /scannow in troubleshooting mode. verify all game files. DDU GPU drivers and reinstall them. sounds like your PSU should be up for the task, i wouldn't worry about that.
I discovered the fix: it turns out one of my RAM modules wasn't just failing—it was throwing CPU errors during startup, oddly enough. Fortunately, these modules come with a lifetime warranty, so swapping them should be easy.
I understand... but using Ryzen with four CORSAIR RAM sticks definitely poses a risk. Make sure your BIOS and chipset are current. If the problem continues, try one set of two Gskill Trident Z RGB sticks—those seem more available and probably simpler to obtain.
