I just upgraded my PC with a new B450 board and a 1000W power supply for better future readiness. I’m using a Ryzen 5 3600, a 6700X, and 16GB DDR4 RAM. When I first powered it up it worked fine but then shut down completely, leaving only a black screen and no signal from the monitor. The fans started up but nothing appears on the screen. I’m not sure what to do and am worried about getting it fixed before heading to a repair shop.

Consider draining the silver CMOS battery for five minutes, then reinstall it and attempt again. Using a 1000w power supply will help secure future compatibility.

When other solutions fail, take the device out of its housing and operate it outside the case on a non-conductive material like cardboard. This process may reveal various issues, so you'll need to check each part until you identify the problem.

I removed the cmos battery and resat my gpu and the motherboard is still giving me vga debug lights but it only stays on for about 30 seconds during boot but still no display
