If B550 supports 1700, it makes sense and I expect that result. The challenge is determining whether the issue lies with the PSU, CPU, or MOBO. I’m prepared to swap out the faulty component for a new one right away, but I’m struggling to pinpoint the exact problem. The EZ LED Debug indicates a GPU failure, though I’m skeptical about that. Could it be the PSU isn’t providing enough power to the GPU, causing the system to miss the GPU detection?

It might be either of these. To verify the ATX connector, you can gently remove it and check for correct voltage. Some power supplies need a light load during testing, so consider keeping a hard drive connected. Always connect a suitable ground wire to the same connector when measuring voltages.

I reviewed the video first. Before trying anything, it’s good to confirm that PSU powers on properly. All main components—LEDs, case fans, and GPU fans—are functioning as expected. To identify the faulty part, look for clear indicators such as unusual noises, inconsistent power delivery, or lights that don’t respond. Any noticeable differences in performance or behavior can help pinpoint the issue.

It was just this past hour that my rig started acting up. Fans whirred, lights flashed, and the GPU’s color shifted unexpectedly—something I hadn’t programmed. Usually it would reset after a few restarts, but this time it persisted. I brought it down from its elevated spot (a real hassle with all those cables), took off the side panel, gently nudged the DIMMs and GPU, and checked every power cable to ensure they were locked in. A satisfying click came when I pressed on the DIMM slots.

When it tried to boot earlier, a white warning light appeared. Now that it’s set up, it’s clear the issue isn’t with the machine itself—just that something was failing to connect properly. I can’t run through the full troubleshooting steps right now, so I’m thinking about moving it elsewhere due to the extra cabling. I swapped out the panel, put the unit back on its stand, and it worked again.

The white light suggested a problem with either the GPU or the DIMMs, possibly from heat expansion and contraction. But I’m not sure—I’m determined to avoid this again. In the meantime, double-check that all components are firmly seated. I’m pretty sure the DIMMs are loose from thermal shifts. While it looks installed, it might not be.

Inspected both the RAM modules and the GPU in a friend's computer; everything functions properly. It looks like the issue might lie with the motherboard, CPU, or power supply unit. I'm heading to a nearby shop today to have it checked since I'm not sure what to do next.

I observed something interesting today. Plugging in the keyboard to the MOBO and starting the PC without a GPU causes the keyboard to turn on. However, once the GPU is added, the keyboard stops working. What could be causing this behavior?

Inspected today using a fresh PSU; performance remains unchanged for both 1070 and 3080 models. Could be the motherboard itself?

Great updates ahead—positive changes with the new B450 Tomahawk Max II, everything is functioning smoothly. Unfortunately, after five enjoyable years, the B350 Tomahawk has reached the end of its life.
