I'm experiencing a puzzling problem with my ROG Ally Z1 Extreme. Despite having complete BIOS access and successfully updating to the newest BIOS version, the system won't boot any operating system or media. It either restarts or freezes when attempting to load an OS. A short video captures the issue clearly. The exact sequence is: the already-installed OS can't be booted from the internal drive, and it also fails to load from USB media like Windows 11 installer, BazziteOS bootable USB, GParted Live, or GRUB. Even with a working spare battery and a correctly set time/date in BIOS, the issue persists. I've tried updating BIOS, resetting it to defaults, toggling Secure Boot, removing and restoring Secure Boot keys, disconnecting the battery, holding it for several minutes, reconnecting, and even swapping SSDs. The problem remains unchanged. I suspect a hardware fault but want to share this with others who might have encountered the same. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I’m unable to return a warranty claim since these devices are from 2023 and likely not covered. Please find the video attached for reference. Thanks in advance!
