I’m just starting out with Linux and didn’t expect such issues. My drive holds Linux Mint 20, but I can’t boot it because the system says no boot media was found. It seems Windows 10 is installed instead. I’m looking for ways to resolve this problem.

You're starting up at the device level or a specific partition? A quick change in booting location can often resolve the issue.

I don't have details on how to create the boot media. Could you clarify your question or provide more context?

I connected a USB drive containing the ISO file, and it appeared to function properly. The installation completed successfully on the device.

You would follow the steps to verify the process, ensuring each part is correctly executed.

When the bios is loading, move to the bios or press the key that leads to the boot menu and choose the drive (if needed, pick the partition).

Yes, that would set the boot sequence.

It's fair to say my motherboard is an MSI MPG x570 Gaming Edge WiFi.

I started from the USB drive I formatted for it and am sure it installed correctly. I chose the right drive from the menu, and its name is clear. I’ll review the boot options tomorrow morning since it’s now midnight here, and I plan to test it then.
