I'm using DDR5 Kingston 32GB 6000MHZ CL30 dual channel (KF560C30BBEAK2-32). I can turn on EXPO II at 5600mhz, but the PC still works fine. That’s why I chose 6000mHZ to avoid using its full capacity. What might I be missing? I have the newest BIOS firmware, and enabling EXPO I won’t allow me to boot over. I need to revert to BIOS settings—either disable or switch to EXPO II. Could anyone suggest other possible causes? Is it an issue with the RAM or another component? Thank you.
It looks like everything is fine now. I turned on the following configurations: Low Latency Support, XMP/EXPO high bandwidth support, and UCLK DIV1 MODE set to AUTO. I haven’t performed a full memory test—just ran cinebench r24 and a few minutes of CS2 without any crashes. I’ll let you know if anything changes.
I currently have the most recent BIOS firmware installed. For context, could you share the BIOS version of your motherboard? If you recently updated the BIOS, did you reset the CMOS after confirming the flash was successful? Regarding CPU cooling, it might help to reduce pressure on the processor by resting it directly on the IHS—consider placing the case flat on it. Also, check for any bent or broken pins.
I'm using the
F33a
which was released FEB. 07.
I did not clear the CMOS, it shows up correctly in the bios. Not my first bios flash.
Using a Elite Capellix H150i, I dont think that can be an issue here, the PC works fine, temps fine, no bent pins or anything broken. Also not my first build.
