Asus Z690-P 12600k Tforce 5600 had an issue during setup. The system would start with either a single RAM stick in any slot, but not with two sticks combined. It only worked with the original b1b2 configuration. A blue screen appeared showing pfn_list_corrupt, and it stopped booting from dual sticks. Someone please assist!

Which BIOS version are you running? Previous versions often had problems with DDR5, which could be the cause. The recommended connection setup is A2 B2; other combinations are not as efficient on this board.

You need to confirm the correct BIOS version. The issue with running a1b2 suggests a mismatch, though all slots and sticks are functioning properly.

Latest is 2212. Just because it's not the latest doesn't mean it's not good, and just because it is the latest also doesn't mean it's the best. I just want to make sure it's not a super early one like 0404 or 0605. Just to make sure, is this a typo for A2B2 or did you mean A1B2 since the latter would likely cause issues. Also make sure to quote so we get a notification.

You experienced the same problem with DDR5, but the BIOS update resolved it for you!

Another different motherboard, but it's just the newest update.

There are many recent updates I could check; I’d consider refreshing to see if it makes a difference. It’s not the time when all versions were equally flawed, but sometimes BIOS updates can break memory support occasionally. Going with the latest versions is advised.
