I registered to respond to this answer. I was already searching for a new motherboard and CPU to fix this issue. Fortunately, I discovered this solution. My setup uses an Asrock z77e-itx with an i5-3470, operating as a NAS. It suddenly shut down unexpectedly at midnight. The next day evening, when I tried to power it on, it wouldn’t boot at all. I suspected the PSU but managed to jumpstart it successfully. Likely the problem lies with the motherboard or processor. After disconnecting all PSU cables, checking the CPU pins, reinstalling the processor didn’t help. After searching online, I found this and it worked!
