I just increased my CPU speed and it worked well until I installed an app from the Microsoft Store. It showed a distorted error message, only using a quarter of the screen, with sad faces and smudged letters. It seemed like overclocking might have caused this issue. I had been playing games for hours without problems until I updated the Xbox app, which was unusual.

Verify your RAM and consider running Memtest to detect any issues

Return to default configurations or remove the original content, then try again. It’s probably true that your original content caused the issue.

The X box app shouldn't interfere much, perhaps run a stress test and see if the PC freezes again. If so, adjust voltage, slow down the clock, add more AV offset, or better avoid overclocking since Ryzen has limited headroom.
