Hey! I just got a H110 Foxconn motherboard to swap in for my old Dell proprietary board. I connected it, put it in the new case, and changed the PSU to a new semi-modular 600W one. After some troubleshooting, it finally turned on with all the fans and RGB working, but it still won’t post. I’ve turned it off, reset the CMOS, swapped out RAM, removed USB devices, deleted the SSD, and nothing changed. The CPU is an i7 7700K with a single 8 GB DDR4 stick. Everything was fine on the old setup, so I’m not sure what to do next.

In my mind, you'd likely need a BIOS update to support the 7th Gen Intel processor in that socket. The box should already support 6th Gen Intel processors. I'm curious about how this H110 motherboard was chosen—was there a recommendation for it? Also, regarding the Dell prebuilt unit, could you provide the SKU so I know what motherboard it originally came with? From the factory.

I don't have a direct link to the motherboard or manual, but the person from the store confirmed it should work out of the box. They tested it with a 6th gen CPU during their visit. The PC in question was a Dell Precision Tower 3620 (SKU: 5DSKHQ2). The new PSU is an ATX-600W from this brand, though I don't recall the exact name.

It's worth mentioning that when the computer started up at the store, the BIOS displayed a date around August 2022. I'm not sure if this indicates a necessary BIOS update.
I would remove every cable connected to the Dell case and check. Dell has unusual wiring adjustments they implement to maintain its identity or make changes.
I haven’t worked directly with that specific Dell model, but I’ve dealt with numerous similar ones.
Likely most of the issues Dell introduces are resolvable.
Sorry for the confusion, the setup I'm using isn't the Dell model, it's a black ATX case from Segotep. I successfully configured all the RGB and fans, including the front IO, but the problem remains with the PC not posting.
