I own this machine for three years now and haven’t faced any similar problems before. I was unable to access my home page because the camera and fingerprint reader stopped working, and my PIN was deleted without an option to reset it. Normally I use Windows Hello with my fingerprint as a backup and my PIN as a secondary method. I don’t have my password saved and haven’t recorded my security questions. What steps can I take to resolve this without hiring a data recovery service or replacing the device?

You don't need to purchase a new computer because the password isn't locked. If it's not an OEM device, you can launch the command prompt without entering a password. Restart the system and if it doesn't start properly, go to the advanced troubleshooting section in the command prompt. Alternatively, use a thumb drive with Windows installed and click the repair option from the bottom-right corner to open the command prompt. If the process succeeds, you can transfer the files. For a graphical setup, consider using Linux installers and copy all data to another drive before performing a full reinstall.

Hirens Win 10 PE starts with a live system and lets you erase the current directory name, plus you can safely back up vital data files for any situation.
