Hello everyone, I'm setting up my first PC and wanted to know if it's okay to use a Windows 10 copy from the MSDN Academic Alliance for personal use. I found many mixed opinions online, some unclear or conflicting. Could someone provide a clear conclusion or a reliable link?

It doesn't really matter if it's available for free—just proceed if you can. I think you likely have a membership there.

This violates the terms of service, making it technically illegal despite agreeing by checking a box. Using it improperly could result in losing your MSDN account, which would be very serious. My employer invested £24,000 in an MSDN subscription for me, so misuse could lead to termination.
