I just configured an Asus ZenWiFi AX1800 Mini as a wireless access point. My DNS, DHCP, and router remain separate. After connecting, all devices get a default external DNS: fdd4:15f7:a9db::1. I’m trying to resolve this issue by blocking it in my firewall, but be careful with Asus networking equipment.

Your LAN devices are receiving DNS through this IPv6 address. Make sure it isn’t the ISP’s DNS override taking precedence over your local settings.

It seems the IP isn't linked to my ISP. Only wireless gadgets use that DNS, while wired connections rely on the local DNS set by my DHCP server. The Asus access point appears to alter the DHCP details.
