I assembled this computer yesterday and haven’t managed to get certain functions working. A key issue is the boot device. Although I have a solid HDD inside the PC, when I try to boot it, it jumps straight into BIOS and displays that my HDD is recognized but can’t set it as the boot priority. I’m looking for assistance!

Check if the hard drive runs an operating system and determine whether it was originally set up on a different device using UEFI settings.

It runs an operating system, yes. It was set up on a different device using UEFI settings. I thought it would function since I reset it, though I’m not sure.
