I own an HP MFP M281fsw laserjet colour printer.
Lately I've encountered some problems while printing.
1) I frequently see numerous blue dots scattered across the page, even when printing in black only. Additionally, a few yellow dots appear.
2) The printed pages develop a greying appearance.
I've included an image to clarify the situation.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When did the issue begin?
- Settings modification?
- Windows driver or system update?
- Disconnect/reconnect?
- Cable, etc...?

The problem began roughly three weeks ago. I had the printer for about five to six years without any issues. The new toners are compatible (they aren't originals) and this is the first time I've encountered such problems. I've performed a factory reset and cleaned it thoroughly, including any visible dirt inside the printer and on the toners. However, nothing has resolved the issue.

The blue marks appearing in random places is atypical. Is it possible for the printer to produce a test page regardless of the settings?

I'll attempt to print a test page when I return.
Even after photocopying, those dots still appear.
What's happening with the grey streaks?

Certainly, the process began with swapping out the replacement toners.

It seems like I've been using the same toner for more than a year. It's been functioning well, but this problem began three weeks ago.

Yes, I performed a factory reset. It is running the latest driver and includes an install software package from the manufacturer.

I'm not entirely sure if it's been updated. I'll check when I get home soon.
