Hi, I'm trying to send a print job from my iPad to the Canon MG3650s printer for my mum. I thought we had everything set up over a year ago when we purchased the printer. Yesterday she attempted to print from a webpage but it just appeared in the queue. We waited about half an hour, and besides the printer making some initial sounds when the print was triggered, nothing else happened. Eventually, we decided to check it out today. I spent several hours trying without success. On the other hand, we can easily print via Wi-Fi from her Windows laptop. The printer in question is AirPrint compatible (as listed online). I haven’t seen any pop-up messages on the iPad when we pressed print—this is the first time either from an iPad or iPhone, so I’m not sure if AirPrint shows up on the screen. Another recent example from her iPad was a photo she received by email. She clicked print, and the menu appeared suggesting which printer to use (just one option), then pressed print. Almost immediately, a box said “success – print successful,” but the printer didn’t make any sound at all—even though it was turned on. Can anyone help clarify this situation? Thanks in advance.
