Printer options for various sizes available.
Hi friends, I have a question about printers. I'm looking for one that excels at printing on custom paper sizes, with a good range from small to large. The largest size I need is around 13 x 19. Recently, I had to print 6 x 12 envelopes and none of my printers could handle it. That's why I prefer custom options, as most printers don't allow manual paper size settings. I also want the smallest size possible, whether it's inkjet or laser—I just need versatility. I appreciate any advice you can give.
The issue lies in not being aware of all the printer sizes until you install the driver and adjust the settings. The 13 x 19 dimensions are challenging because they exceed the typical 11 x 17 tabloid size. You might want to check the recommended printers, such as the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-7310 and other large format models, which are designed to accommodate 13 x 19.
As an alternative idea:
Think about using address labels rather than envelopes.
This could be quicker when sending several envelopes together.
Labels are available in various sizes and also on 8 1/2 by 11 sheets with peel-off labels.
They can be taken off the sheet and stuck onto the envelope.
Bigger labels allow more space for a smaller return address, enabling both addresses to be printed on the same label.
Some label makers offer free software that lets you use a database or word processing tool to input addresses from a table.
And certain apps—such as word processing, databases, or spreadsheets—may include address templates.

You can also try printing on plain paper first to check alignment before committing to full label sheets.
Examine the Brother MFC Mono Laser printers. They appear to handle nearly everything you could expect.
